Max Scherzer walked off the field at Comerica Park on Saturday night and shook hands with Tigers skipper Jim Leyland. Scherzer’s night was done. The Tigers were losing to the Texas Rangers. And his streak was over. Scherzer started the year with a perfect 13-0 record, becoming the first starting pitcher in Tigers’ history to win that many games in a row without a loss.
